Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Full Time CT Technologist to perform quality diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced surgical hospital setting in Fort Worth, TX.

The role requires ARRT RT( R )( CT) certification, MRT license, and BLS, along with a High School diploma or equivalent and AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education. A strong focus on patient care and radiation safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT RT( R )( CT) certification and MRT General License with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment and prepare exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
• Provide excellent patient care and practice radiation safety.
• Perform QC checks and maintain logs.
• Take emergency call as assigned.

CT Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:

Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center. Operates CT and x‑ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides excellent patient care. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

• The Radiologic technologist operates CT and X‑ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
• Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
• Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
• Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
• Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation
• Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
• Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
• Takes emergency call as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

Licensure/Certification:

• Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate
• Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
• Current BLS certification
