Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate patient files, and support patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly at waiting areas, exam rooms, and labs or x-ray rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and recognize emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain equipment, document visits, and adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
