Responsibilities

Below, we have provided a high-level view of what the role entails, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.

  • Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, draw blood, give injections, and perform clinical tasks.
  • Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
  • Operate or oversee operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray Scans.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
  • Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to the Core Values of the Company: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; act and communicate positively to foster a good work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence
  • Complete all required preceptor training to onboard and train new hires effectively.
  • Engage with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Meet new employees on their first day, facilitate welcome, introductions, tours, and process overviews.
  • Establish and review training plans with new hires and Learning & Development.
  • Submit weekly evaluations on trainees’ progress and communicate concerns as needed.
  • Complete final evaluations and Proof of Proficiency forms.
Experience Requirements and Preferences

At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting such as Urgent Care.

Indiana Residents Only

Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent.

License Requirements

Full Scope X-Ray Technologist State License.
