Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an X-ray Technologist in Texas to deliver vital diagnostic imaging services in a hospital-styled setting. You will work a 3x12 day shift schedule, Thursday through Saturday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with structured workdays and midweek time off.

Responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, operating X-ray equipment, following physician orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate EMR records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
• Proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures and equipment operation.
• Hospital imaging department experience preferred.

Job description

Deliver vital diagnostic imaging services as an X-ray Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity offers a consistent 3x12 day shift schedule, providing you with structured workdays and time off during the week.

Schedule

• 3x12 day shift
• Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 am 7:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic procedures to assist clinical staff in patient diagnosis and management
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Accurately follow physician orders regarding imaging exam types and patient positioning
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and images within the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate results
• Uphold infection control and regulatory compliance for all imaging activities

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• State licensure as required
• Proficient in X-ray imaging procedures and equipment operation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinic imaging department preferred
