Job summary

HCP Talent in the Greater New Orleans area is seeking an X-Ray Technician to join its primary care team. This full-time on-site role blends diagnostic radiology with general medical assisting under provider supervision to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Candidates should hold an accredited radiologic technology program, state licensure or ARRT certification, and BLS. A minimum of two years’ outpatient experience and proficiency with EMR systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate; Basic X-Ray Operator acceptable.
• LA state licensure or ARRT certification required or eligible.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum two years’ X-Ray Technologist experience in outpatient/primary care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology imaging with proper positioning and safety.
• Assist with phlebotomy, EKGs, minor procedures, and patient prep.
• Log imaging parameters and update EMR; manage referral workflows.
• Ensure radiation safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and coordinate with providers.
