Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in New Orleans to perform high-quality radiographic exams while delivering compassionate patient care. You will operate X-ray equipment, verify images, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretations.

The role requires ARRT and CPR certification and a valid Louisiana radiology license with 3–5 years of radiology experience preferred. You’ll work within a supportive team focused on safety, quality, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and CPR required; LA radiology license required.
• Three to five years radiology experience preferred.
• Proficient with X-ray equipment, safety protocols and image quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical skills with all X-ray equipment and produce high quality exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and families, ease anxiety and address concerns.
• Recognize clinical or emergent problems and take appropriate action.
• Evaluate findings and review anatomy with radiologists when needed.
• Maintain supply levels and keep equipment clean; report malfunctions.
• Input and verify data in PACS/RADIANT and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to quality control checks.
• Ensure continuity of care and clear communication for an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate with the team and assist others as needed.
