Job summary

InnovaCare Management Services Company, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant/X-ray Tech to perform routine radiographs and assist in minor procedures under physician supervision in a fast-paced facility. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, assisting during exams, drawing blood, collecting samples, and handling basic lab tasks; Florida license and 2 years experience required. The role features 3-12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have current Florida State License.
• Minimum two years of experience required.
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and perform basic lab tasks as trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust imaging equipment for radiographs.
• Prepare patients for examination and position them for imaging.
• Assist physician during exams and collect specimens as directed.
• Transmitting prescription refills and handling basic lab tasks.
• Take electrocardiograms and draw blood after training.

InnovaCare Management Services Company, LLCJOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of a physician or APP, performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility. MA duties, including patient assessment, vitals, medication administration and lab draws. Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Alternating weekends and holidays. Mixture of 6, 8 & 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.*Must have current Florida State License, two years of experience required*MA / Xray Tech duties:Operate and adjust imaging equipment.Explain procedures to patients.Position patients and equipment.Maintains exam rooms by stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies.
