Job summary

InnovaCare Management Services Company, LLC seeks a capable MA / X-ray Tech to perform radiographs and minor procedures under supervision in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires Florida licensure and at least two years of experience. You will cross-train, float as needed, and support physicians with patient care, vitals, bar-code labeling, and lab work. Scheduling includes 3–12 hour shifts with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida State License and two years of experience.
• Training to perform BAT and urine drug screens will be provided.
• Ability to explain procedures and position patients; maintain patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust imaging equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for optimal imaging.
• Maintain exam rooms and report equipment malfunctions.
• Perform basic patient assessments and vital signs.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Administer medications as directed and handle prescriptions.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of a physician or APP, performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility. MA duties, including patient assessment, vitals, medication administration and lab draws. Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Alternating weekends and holidays. Mixture of 6, 8 & 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must have current Florida State License, two years of experience required

MA / Xray Tech duties:

• Operate and adjust imaging equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients and equipment.
• Maintains exam rooms by stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies. Maintains equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or appropriate service provider.
