Job summary

InnovaCare Health seeks a Radiology Technician/Medical Assistant to perform routine radiographs and related procedures under physician/APP supervision. You will cross-train and float to meet facility needs, conduct patient assessments, vitals, and labs, and maintain high standards of patient care and service.

The role involves operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and assisting physicians during procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Florida State License is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as MA/X-ray tech.
• Willing to cross train and float to meet facility needs.
• Operate imaging equipment and position patients.

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of a physician or APP, performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgement and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionising radiation for radiological diagnosis.

Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility. MA duties, including patient assessment, vitals, medication administration and lab draws. Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Alternating weekends and holidays. Mixture of 6, 8 & 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

*Must have current Florida State License, two years of experience required*

MA / Xray Tech duties:

• Operate and adjust imaging equipment.

• Maintains exam rooms by stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies.
• Maintains equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or appropriate service provider.
