Job summary

CareNow, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) to deliver timely radiology procedures and support in-house laboratory tasks within a busy urgent care setting.

The role requires an LMRT license in Texas, graduation from an accredited Radiological Sciences program, and 1+ year of clinical experience. Eligible candidates must obtain BLS, Breath Alcohol, and Drug Screening certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests including drug screens and urinalysis; process specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow occupational procedures and preferences; float to other clinic locations if required.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
