Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Murfreesboro team. The role includes operating diagnostic equipment, developing films, and performing Medical Assistant duties as needed.

The position requires a valid TN X-Ray license, BLS certification, and ARRT certification preferred. Full-time with rotating 36-40 hour weeks and some weekends are offered, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required.
• TN State X-Ray License required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting, exam, or x-ray rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Address patient concerns and escalate emergencies as needed.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk with check-in/out when required.
• Record vital signs, weight, history, medications, allergies and pertinent data.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Follow documentation procedures for patient visits and imaging.
• Conduct radiology procedures for physician review.
• Perform quality control for imaging quality and safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment is functional and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Maintain current radiology licensure and equipment certification.
