Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in East Nashville, TN is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team.

This role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops films, and prepares the room with necessary supplies, while also supporting Medical Assistant duties. Opportunities exist within a full-time rotating schedule and PRN options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• TN State X-Ray License required; ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and manage patient flow in exam and x-ray rooms.
• Perform x-ray procedures and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain proper radiation safety, shielding, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Document vital signs, history, medications, and other pertinent information.
• Assist with front desk tasks and patient check-in/out when needed.
