Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in East Nashville, TN, is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and supporting Medical Assistant duties.

You will greet patients, document vital signs, assist with procedures, and maintain safety with proper shielding. The schedule features a rotating 36-40 hour/week, 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend, with PRN

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist in exam rooms and radiology areas.
• Explain wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Maintain radiation safety and shielding procedures.
• Take vital signs and document medical history as appropriate.
• Perform radiology procedures for physician review and treatment.
