Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Houston seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision, applying x-ray energy to aid diagnosis from newborns to elderly. You will rotate through advanced areas and assist during fluoroscopy, OR cases and trauma, while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Graduate of an accredited imaging program is required; ARRT eligibility with BLS is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program.
• Preferred: Associates degree in radiologic technology.
• Experience in diagnostic radiography (1–3 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology including OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
