Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a diagnostic radiologic technologist in El Paso, TX. Under minimal supervision, you will perform radiographic procedures across age groups, applying professional judgment to aid diagnosis or treatment.

This is a full-time position with responsibilities spanning OR, urography, and advanced radiology areas. Required ARRT or registry eligibility, ARRT within one year post graduation, BLS, and any necessary state licensure.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
• Experience: 1–3 years preferred
• Certifications: ARRT or registry eligible; ARRT within 1 year post graduation; BLS certification; state license if required

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology.
• Performs procedures as requested by a licensed physician, using appropriate techniques and patient care.

Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
