Job summary

Resolute Baptist Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision, serving patients from newborn to elderly. You will apply x-ray energy with professional judgment and assist in diagnosis or treatment while working across OR environments.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, active Texas licensure, ARRT eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active Texas Medical Board license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or registry eligible; ARRT within 1 year post graduation.
• BLS required on hire; must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physicians.
• Apply x-ray energy and exercise professional judgment to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages.
• Be multi-skilled in OR procedures and equipment.
• Complete established competencies within the introductory period.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is multi-skilled in the use of O.R. procedures and equipment. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree

• Required Certifications / Licensure:
  • Possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license.
  • Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registry eligible. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school.
• Preferred Certifications / Licensure: (none listed)
• Required Courses / Completions (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
