Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician directions. The role involves applying x‑ray energy to aid in diagnosis across all ages, with duties including open reductions, trauma, and OR procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Imaging Program, ARRT certification or registry eligibility (ARRT within 1 year post‑graduation), and BLS; state license if required. Generous benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographs across various procedures and age groups.
• Assists with fluoroscopy, OR procedures, arthrography, and trauma as needed.
• Maintains professional judgment in applying x‑ray energy to aid in diagnosis or treatment.
• Completes established competencies within the introductory period.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus based on eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
• Performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x‑ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post‑graduation; BLS; state license if required.

Preferred:

• Education: Associate degree
• Experience: 1‑3 years of relevant experience
