Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology; must pass Registry exam within one year of hire.
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License is required for all outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiology examinations by confirming orders, verifying identities, and obtaining histories.
• Performs radiology examinations on all patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to safety practices.
• Supervises students and provides clinical instruction and evaluation.
• Assists with inventory management and accurate documentation for billing.
