Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL. The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supporting OR and ED imaging, and handling RIS data management and clutter-free file room tasks.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as is time management and critical thinking. The role requires BLS, ARRT eligibility or registration within 6 months, and Florida Radiology

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ARRT Registry Eligible; OR ARRT registered within 6 months of hire.
• Radiology – State of Florida license/credentialing required.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree in Radiology.

• Location: Mease Countryside Medical Arts Building, Safety Harbor, FL
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Shift: Shift 1, Days
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
