Job summary

BayCare Health System's St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, and to support imaging services.

The role requires ARRT eligibility, Florida radiology licensure, BLS, and a technical diploma or associate degree in radiology; evening shifts, on-call, and weekend work are required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ARRT Registry eligible; ARRT registration within 6 months.
• Radiology license in the State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Supports operating room and emergency department imaging as needed.
• Manages RIS data, file room, and general clerical tasks.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits time management, critical thinking, and effective written/verbal communication.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
