Job summary

Concentra is hiring a X Ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist in Gardena, CA. You will perform routine X-ray exams, DOT and non-DOT drug testing, and assist clinicians in examinations and procedures.

Expect front office duties, patient flow management, and strict adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines. Qualified candidates have a High school diploma or GED, a Limited Scope Technician certification, CPR/First Aid, and prior medical assisting or radiology exposure.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with positioning to ensure safe imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings per exam requirements.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment and document QC activities.
• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing as part of medical support duties.
• Provide front office support: greet patients, check in/out, and manage documentation.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatment and support patient flow in the center.
