Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring radiation safety and proper technique.
• Prepares patients for exams, records vital signs, and explains procedures.
• May assist with initial and renewal accreditation processes and quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions to department management.
• Takes emergency call within the department; may work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
