Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography exams and support physician diagnoses. The role may include use of more complex modalities and requires strict adherence to radiation safety and patient care standards.

Qualified candidates will hold a radiologic technology degree, ARRT-R registration, and Texas MRT licensing, with BLS/ACLS certification. You may be asked to float to other locations and assist in patient registration when needed.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or temporary license, required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.
• Basic or Advanced Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, explains procedures, and positions patients for imaging.
• Selects appropriate imaging techniques and ensures high-quality radiographs.
• Enters and monitors patient data in the system; may assist with initial and renewal accreditation.
• Performs QA on radiology equipment and reports any malfunctions to management.
• May assist with patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance and processing payments.
• May be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
