Job summary

Nikon Metrology, LLC is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, repair and upgrades for Nikon Metrology X-ray products. Travel is extensive (80%+), across North America with some international travel to Central/South America.

Qualifications

• Must have ITAR access to information and materials.
• Travel 80%+ domestically with occasional international travel.
• 2+ years in a technical role, or >4 years in a technical role.
• Experience with complex capital equipment subsystems (vacuum, manipulators, HV, mechanical, PCs).
• Able to diagnose to a board level and fix issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Overtime eligibility as per FLSA.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system failures and perform corrective actions.
• Perform maintenance and software training as needed.
• Provide field and in-house services for Nikon Metrology X-ray products.
• Test and repair spare parts and systems.
• Support equipment at customer sites or via phone/email.
