Job summary

Astrophysics Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of our X-Ray security systems at customer sites across the region.

The role requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance. The technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair products, complete service documentation, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2-7 years of technical support or field service experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to various work sites.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Eligible for and able to maintain a Secret-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain Astrophysics products at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment; complete service reports and surveys.
• Maintain data in service databases and prepare equipment, parts, and documentation before arriving on-site.
• Update service HQ on progress and status of service calls.
• Provide customer training and support for products and installations.
