Position Description:

MXR Imaging, Inc., a nationwide provider of Medical Imaging solutions in X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, seeks an experienced X-Ray Field Service Engineer. Responsibilities include corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, scheduled preventive maintenance, and installation of medical imaging equipment at customer sites. This is a home-based position with limited overnight travel for service and training.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high customer satisfaction through maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs of medical imaging equipment including basic X-ray, portable units, digital imaging, PACS, networking, C-Arms, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy systems.
• Install imaging equipment, manage projects, inspect sites, assist with site planning, and coordinate with customers and contractors to ensure site readiness per OEM specifications.
• Complete all required state and FDA paperwork related to radiation equipment installation.
• Order parts and supplies needed for maintenance and service tickets.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in on-call service coverage on a rotation basis after hours.
• Complete administrative duties such as closing service tickets, submitting timesheets, expense reports, FDA reports, and maintaining tools and test equipment.

Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree in Electronics

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Medical Imaging Field Service, with proven skills in diagnosing and repairing imaging equipment. Experience with OEMs such as Carestream, Quantum, Canon RadPRO, Del Medical, Konica Minolta, Fuji, GE, Summit, or Amrad is a plus.

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
