Position Details

Location: Dallas, TX Territory

MXR Imaging, Inc., a nationwide provider of Medical Imaging solutions, is seeking an experienced X-Ray Field Service Engineer. Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and customer support for medical imaging equipment. This position is home-based with limited travel.

Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical imaging equipment, including X-Ray, digital imaging, PACS, networking, C-Arms, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy systems.
2. Install imaging equipment, manage projects, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with customers and contractors to ensure site readiness.
3. Complete all required documentation for equipment installation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
4. Order parts and supplies, manage service tickets, and maintain equipment and tools.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
6. Provide on-call support on a rotation basis.
7. Complete administrative duties, including service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and FDA reporting.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• AA in Electronics preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Imaging Field Service, with proven diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience with OEM systems such as Carestream, Quantum, Canon RadPRO, Del Medical, Konica Minolta, Fuji, GE, Summit, or similar is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Competencies

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer/networking skills.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to handle equipment, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform visual tasks. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
