Job summary

Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR seeks a full-time RAD TECH to perform imaging procedures (X-ray and CT) and uphold patient safety protocols. You will be the primary contact for imaging needs and participate in CQI activities.

Responsibilities include operating CR/DR systems, positioning patients, and maintaining workspace and records. ARRT registration and Arkansas radiation certification are required; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation.
• Current BLS Certification.
• BS degree preferred; strong patient care and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures with emphasis on patient safety.
• Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopy exams.
• Program portable or stationary x-ray machines and acquire radiographs.
• Position and shield patients; adhere to ALARA principles.
• Maintain records, stock, and participate in CQI activities.
