Qualifications

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Graduation from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing radiographic/fluoroscopy procedures with emphasis on safety.
• Select and operate radiographic equipment; position and shield patients appropriately.
• Follow ALARA principles and process x-rays using CR/DR systems.
• Maintain department stock and assist in training of students and staff.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
