Job summary

Bryan College Of Health Sciences in Grand Island, NE seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic XR and CT procedures under physician supervision, ensuring image quality and patient safety across all ages.

You will operate portable and stationary X-ray machines, integrate PACS documentation, participate in quality improvement, and maintain sterile technique while coordinating exams with staff.

Qualifications

• Maintain clinical competency for all ages.
• Knowledge of positioning and radiation safety.
• Familiar with CT non-invasive/invasive procedures.
• Understanding federal/state radiography regulations.
• Proficient with PACS and related systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to function under stress and emergent situations.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic XR procedures including fluoroscopy and portable imaging.
• Conduct CT studies including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Position patients and select technical factors with proper shielding.
• Operate X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-Arms, O-Arm, and CT equipment.
• Review patient history using PACS and document studies.
• Coordinate exams within the department and with other teams.
• Maintain equipment and ensure clean, disinfected areas.
• On-call responsibilities and participate in department meetings.
