Bryan College Of Health Sciences in Grand Island, NE, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic XR and CT studies under physician supervision. You will use XR and CT technology to aid diagnosis across age groups while maintaining safe practices and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include proper positioning, image quality evaluation, coordinating exams, and contributing to department quality improvement and education activities. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Maintains clinical competency for age-specific needs and mandatory education.
• Knowledge of positioning, technical factors, and radiation safety.
• Knowledge of CT non-invasive and invasive procedures.
• Knowledge of radiography regulations.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software relevant to work.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic XR procedures including fluoroscopy and portable exams.
• Performs CT studies and practices radiation safety.
• Positions patients and selects proper technical factors for quality imaging.
• Operates XR equipment and reviews images for technical quality.
• Uses department systems and PACS to document studies.
• Coordinates exams within the department and with other departments.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and provides care for all ages.
• Assists with scheduling and calls for coordination as needed.
• Participates in quality improvement and department projects.
