Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures including radiography and fluoroscopy.
  • Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff and self.
  • Position patients correctly to optimize imaging and image quality.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and support systems (PACS, HIS, RIS).
  • Coordinate exams and communicate with medical staff and patients.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and proper documentation.
