Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician. You will use CT technology to assist in diagnosing patient problems across all ages and coordinate with the department to ensure timely, accurate imaging.

Requirements include graduation from an approved radiologic technology program, ARRT certification or eligible, CT certification within 24 months, valid state radiographer license, and CPR

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a school of radiologic technology with ARRT certification or eligibility.
  • CT certification within 24 months of hire.
  • Valid state medical radiographer license.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of CT studies including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Practice radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
  • Position patients properly and select appropriate technical factors.
  • Operate CT equipment and review images for quality.
  • Coordinate exams within the department and with other departments.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report problems.
  • Handle scheduling inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
