Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist to assist in diagnostic imaging under supervision. You will support X-ray, CT, MRI exams, learn patient positioning, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

This role requires current senior-level enrollment in a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program, CPR certification, and willingness to learn imaging principles and workflow. Training is provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Senior-level enrollment in a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to learn imaging principles and workflows.
• Ability to learn patient positioning and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in radiographic procedures while ensuring compliance with supervision (no CT or contrast until instructed).
• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care in a holistic manner.
• Educate patients and respond to patient and customer concerns.
• Complete documentation of patient x-ray records and Quality Control processes.
• Engage in value-added activities that support positive patient satisfaction and operational performance.
