Job summary

ProSmile, a fast-growing dental organization, seeks a Dental Assistant w/ X-ray to support clinicians and patients. Under dentist supervision, you’ll assist chairside, manage records, and help schedule appointments.

You’ll maintain inventory, follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines, and prepare cases for labs. A high school diploma, X-ray license, CPR certification, and 1+ year experience are preferred; licensure requirements may vary by state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn technologies and systems.
• NJ/MD/PA DRT license requirements listed or licensure pursued immediately.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred.
• 1+ years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• X-ray license required.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance and instrument knowledge to support dentists.
• Maintain inventory in treatment rooms and operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Handle scheduling, patient interactions, and follow-up information.
• Perform basic lab procedures (impressions, models, lab prep).
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
