Job summary

Education Jobs NJ is seeking a swim instructor to develop programs and orient participants on stroke mechanics to improve swimming ability. You will assess technique and tailor instruction for various ages and skill levels, ensuring engaging, effective lessons.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, WSI and CPR/AED/FIRST AID certifications, and preferably at least one year of teaching experience. Knowledge of swim levels and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• WSI, CPR/AED/FIRST AID certifications are required.
• At least 1 year of teaching lessons is preferred.
• Knowledge of various swim levels and corresponding instruction is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professional knowledge of different levels of swimming techniques to provide one-on-one and group training appropriate to the participant's age and skill.
• Provides engaging and imaginative swim instruction to participants.
• Promotes swim lessons to clientele to aid retention and enrollment growth.
• Manages lesson schedules to ensure classes start and run on time for a smooth flow of activities.
