The City of Tuscaloosa is seeking a qualified supervisor to manage the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) and sanitary sewer lift stations. You will direct staff, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and coordinate safety training and equipment.

• Requires relevant supervisory experience in wastewater operations.
• Familiar with safety policies, OSHA regulations and PPE requirements.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations governing WRRF operations.
• Ability to plan, schedule and evaluate staff performance.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control for facility operations.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and evaluate WRRF and lift station staff; handle personnel concerns and performance appraisals.
• Oversee WRRF processes/equipment to ensure compliant wastewater treatment.
• Coordinate safety training with Safety Director and ensure PPE availability.
• Review designs, reports, budgets, and purchase requests for the facility.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate operational issues to leadership.
• Schedule maintenance, monitor processes, and optimize treatment parameters.
