Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; supervisory coursework desirable.
• At least four years in mechanical maintenance with at least two in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and computerized maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and participate in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Use a CMMS to monitor productivity and track work.
• Review work requests for completeness and necessity.
• Prepare detailed job scopes, procedures, man-hour estimates and safety considerations.
• Inspect work of crews and assist in inspections of sewer facilities.
• Supervise and participate in troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Operate mechanical equipment and maintain maintenance records.
• Order inventory and assist budget development.
• Attend meetings and participate in mechanical management activities.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.
