Barry University in Miami Shores seeks a student tutor to provide one-on-one and small-group writing tutoring in the Peer Tutoring Lab. This role supports undergraduate students across content-area courses, in person, with a minimum of 10 hours per week.

The tutor will document progress, participate in training, and help with workshop materials, while upholding the university's commitment to diversity and academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Must maintain good academic standing and meet program requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutorial services to a diverse population of undergraduate students.
• Document student progress using Lab systems and communicate with Lab Manager.
• Participate in training and professional development sessions.
• Develop and facilitate writing-related workshops or short videos.
