Chatham University OAAR Writing Center seeks Writing Mentors to work one-on-one with students to improve writing across subjects. Mentors support COR145, a 1-credit writing course designed for undergraduates new to writing, and manage a caseload of participants.

The position is on-campus with occasional virtual work as needed, for the 26-27 academic year. Work hours are capped by the campus policy to 20 hours per week and 980 hours per calendar year.

Responsabilidades

• Work one-on-one with students to help improve written assignments across subjects.
• Assist students enrolled in COR145, a 1-credit writing course for new undergraduates.
• Manage a caseload of writing center participants and coordinate sessions with mentors.
