Job summary

Troy University's Writing Center is seeking a part-time Writing Center Tutor to assist the Writing Center Director with tutoring services for students from all majors, on campus and online. The role involves tutoring in the Writing Process, and helping students use scheduling and information software.

Responsibilities include developing and conducting workshops as assigned and performing other duties to support student success in writing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong aptitude for reading, writing, and teaching others these skills.

Responsibilities

• Tutors students from all majors in all areas of the Writing Process.
• Supports student use of scheduling/information software; assists with on-campus and online activities.
• Develops and conducts workshops as assigned; performs other duties as assigned.
