ICONIQ is seeking a talented Writer & Storyteller to join its Marketing team, shaping editorial content on technology, innovation, and company-building. You will craft investment theses, founder stories, and market insights across channels within ICONIQ venture and growth.

The role emphasizes translating complex concepts into accessible narratives, collaborating with executives and teams, and developing thought leadership at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in writing, journalism, editorial, marketing, venture capital, technology, or a similarly high-quality content environment.
• Exceptional writing portfolio demonstrating range across long-form editorial, thought leadership, social content, and audience-focused storytelling.
• Strong ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear narratives.

Responsibilities

• Write original content across newsletters, social media, blog posts, long-form editorial features, case studies, and investment announcements while maintaining the ICONIQ brand voice.
• Research and develop thought leadership content focused on AI, fintech, enterprise software, and company-building at scale.
• Edit and elevate content created by investors, partners, and Marketing team members while preserving each contributor's authentic voice.
• Support the development and execution of newsletters by creating and curating engaging content that grows and retains audiences.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications, and investment teams to support campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives.
• Brainstorm and test new content formats including founder spotlights, interviews, essay series, and data-driven reports.
• Help maintain and evolve editorial standards, workflows, and content playbooks.

This role sits within ICONIQ venture and growth, which partners with founders defining the future of their industries.

As part of the editorial engine behind ICONIQ's venture and growth thought leadership platform, you will bring investment theses, portfolio founder stories, and market insights to life across multiple channels and formats.

What you'll do

• Write original content across newsletters, social media, blog posts, long-form editorial features, case studies, and investment announcements while maintaining the ICONIQ brand voice.

• Excellent project management skills across multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Location

Onsite in the San Francisco office in accordance with ICONIQ's hybrid working policy.

Salary

$140,000 - $165,000 per year, plus benefits.
