Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• All coaches must complete NFHS coaching courses before working with student athletes.
• CPR certification is required for paid coaches and may be completed through the school system.
• HR onboarding, HR screening (drug test and background check) and health physical/TB test are required before approval.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, developing and implementing an instructional program in wrestling as assigned by the coach.
• Assist in administering the wrestling program.
• Foster a climate conducive to learning.
• Establish and implement improvement processes for the sport.
• Maintain professional work habits and relations with staff, students and community.
• Communicate with parents and the educational community.
• Develop rapport with coaching staff, participants, and officials.
• Cooperate with school principal and head coach; help organize staff.
