Job summary

North Lincoln High School in Lincolnton, North Carolina seeks a Wrestling Varsity Head Coach for the women's team. The position is part-time and reports to the Principal and Athletic Director. Initial appointment is immediate, with a stipend based on experience per NCHSAA guidelines.

Applicants must be 21+, have a HS diploma or GED, coaching experience preferred, and complete NFHS coaching courses plus CPR certification. CDL license may be required in certain duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• All coaches must complete NFHS coaching courses and CPR certification.
• HR onboarding, drug test, background check, health physical and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in planning, developing and implementing an instructional program in wrestling for the women’s varsity team.
• Administers the wrestling program and fosters a positive learning climate.
• Establishes improvement processes and maintains professional conduct with stakeholders.
• Collaborates with Principal and Athletic Director; organizes coaching staff and communications with parents and community.
• Must be eligible and willing to obtain CDL bus driver's license for driving the activity bus.
• Other duties as assigned.
