Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complies with school and MIAA policies and regulations.
• Works cooperatively with the school staff.

• Assumes responsibility for care of equipment and facilities.
• Assumes responsibility for a safe environment for student athletes.
• Models positive behaviors, especially with regard to sportsmanship and the alcohol, tobacco and drug rules.
• Delegates staff assignments to assistant coaches.
• Develops and organizes practice program.
• Evaluates assistant coaches and playing personnel.
• Plans and develops game responsibilities; conducts and analyzes scouting reports.
• Assists student athletes in college advancement.
• Maintains and inventories all equipment and supplies.
• Acts as liaison with staff, administration, general public, and local news media.
• Responsible for implementing “other job related duties” as needed.
