NFI Vermont, Inc. is seeking a Wraparound Peer Parent Partner to provide active peer support to parents of youth in the Wraparound Program. The role covers Franklin County and Grand Isle, VT, working in families' homes and various community settings.
You will collaborate with a Facilitator/Case Manager to implement individualized, culturally sensitive treatment plan goals and advocate for caregiver involvement within a multi-disciplinary team in Vermont.
An integral member of the Child and Family Team, the primary role of the Parent Partner is to provide active, hands‑on “peer” support to parents of youth/young adults receiving services within the Wraparound Program. This position is responsible for providing guidance and support to families/caregivers in a variety of environments within the Franklin County and Grand Isle, VT area. This position works independently in the family’s home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings and serves as a liaison for parent involvement.
Under supervision of the Facilitator/Case Manager, the Parent Partner will work with client’s caregiver to implement the treatment plan goals, which are family‑centered, community‑oriented, strength‑based, culturally sensitive and highly individualized. Parent Partners are responsible for representing the interest and concerns of caregivers participating in the Wraparound Program through NFI located in St. Albans, VT.
This position is 40 hours per week with a pay range of $21-$23 p/hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement.
