Job summary

NFI Vermont, Inc. is seeking a Wraparound Peer Parent Partner to provide active peer support to parents of youth in the Wraparound Program. The role covers Franklin County and Grand Isle, VT, working in families' homes and various community settings.

You will collaborate with a Facilitator/Case Manager to implement individualized, culturally sensitive treatment plan goals and advocate for caregiver involvement within a multi-disciplinary team in Vermont.

Qualifications

• Must have personal life experience as a parent or caregiver of at‑risk child(ren).
• High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• Ability to be flexible in a changing environment.
• Experience with families/children in juvenile justice/child welfare contexts.
• Able to relate to diverse clientele and colleagues.
• Valid Vermont driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, peer support to parents/caregivers within Wraparound programming.
• Assist in implementing family-centered treatment plan goals in home and community settings.
• Represent caregiver interests and concerns within NFI's Wraparound Program in St. Albans, VT.
