Job summary

Child & Family in Rhode Island seeks a Direct Service Staff member to work with East Bay families to identify and begin Wraparound services, resources, advocacy, education, or skills that help them achieve their goals.

This is a hybrid role with 20% remote work; travel along the East Bay is required. The ARPA-funded stipend of up to $694.50 per month is based on hours worked and continues while funds are guaranteed by the State.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Experience in child welfare, parent education, home-based services, and/or crisis intervention.
• Travel along the East Bay is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and car registration.
• Bilingual in Spanish encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate services, resources, advocacy, education, or skills for families.
• Implement Wraparound Services with families using the national Wraparound Model.
• Collaborate with a team visiting families in homes and communities.
• Coordinate services with schools, healthcare providers, and court systems.
• Participate in community outreach events to educate the community about FCCP.
