Job summary

Phoenix House Orange County, Inc. is seeking a Child and Family Specialist (Full-time) in Lake View Terrace, CA to provide one-on-one support and behavioral interventions to youth, and to help develop communication, anger management, and pro-social skills within the Wraparound program.

The role requires managing a 10-12 client caseload, attending team and community meetings, and coordinating with DCFS/DMH, schools, and other partners. Evening/weekend crisis coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Human Services, Social Work, or Psychology with 1 year of relevant youth experience.
• High School Diploma (or GED) with 3 years of relevant youth experience.
• Valid CA driver's license and auto insurance; safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and behavioral interventions to clients and families.
• Participate in Child and Family Team Meetings and support client needs.
• Possibly provide crisis intervention during evenings, nights, or weekends.
