Qualifications

• AA or bachelor’s in human services or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Tier II requires a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Tier III requires a bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• Tier IV requires a bachelor’s with 6 years or a Master’s degree.
• Valid CA driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the child in home, school, and community with mentoring, coaching, and case management.
• Recognize and reinforce positive behaviors and skills.
• Maintain family-centered, culturally sensitive approaches.
• Support youth in applying essential social skills with adults and peers.
• Provide transportation to youth for activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation adhering to program standards.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams in treatment plan development.
• Develop knowledge of community resources for children and families.
• Serve on committees, lead trainings, and represent the program locally.
• Perform other related duties as required.
